Puppies I will feed 2 or more times a day as they need usually smaller feedings but more times a day for their development, always ask your Veterinarian as they know your Dog & Breed best!. As adults feeding once a day has always worked well for the health of my Dogs. Huskies are notoriously finicky eaters so I find too much food availability to them can exacerbate that and curb their appetite which for some can be a problem. Additionally I feel once a day with the active lifestyle we have keeps the Dogs always ready to go without having to be as concerned with bloat and or regurgitation.
